The miniature bull terrier came from a breed group known as the “bullies” of the dog world. They are a great mixture of the Pug, boxer, bull mastiff, and the Boston terrier. These dogs must never be hit or yelled at. That is the easiest way to make these dogs very mean. They must be dealt with in a very stern way, but never project any kind of aggression on them or they could tend to mirror it back to you.
These dogs are very small, but do not let that fool you. They are very strong headed and athletic. They tend to be a bit of a lazy lapdog, but they can be a fun play partner. They are very strong and smart. This has been such a strong feature in these dogs that they have been involved in many movies and have been owned by many famous people.
The truth is that if you can take a lot of time to properly train these dogs they can be a good choice for you. Yes they have aggressive tendencies, but if properly trained you will never have to worry about this. They are great lapdogs which require very little grooming. Just a good bit of training.
