Miniature Bull Terrier

Miniature Bull Terriers are a popular breed and many people seem to be jumping at the chance to buy one. But there are some things a prospective buyer should consider. First look at the price: these dogs definitely are not a dime a dozen. They come with a hefty price tag of $2,500 considering that they are only 150 born annually in the US.

Canine epilepsy or seizure can be seen in an affected dog when he is as young as 12 months old. For instance, Bull Terriers are affected when they are 6 to 18 months old. Many breeds of dogs are likely to be susceptible to the ailment. Golden Retrievers, Saint Bernards, Miniature Schnauzers are but some of them.

We bought a 3 month old miniature bull terrier yesterday who still hasn't been housetrained. He's had a couple of poos and wees on the floor which isn't a problem, the problem is that whenever he has a poo you have to move fast to stop him eating it. Is this normal behaviour and will it make him ill?
